Dennis Klieber
Founder & Co-CIO
Dennis is a Founder of GCP and is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing transactions.
Prior to founding GCP, Dennis was a credit investor at Centerbridge Partners where he was spearheading the firm’s sourcing and underwriting of Growth Debt investments in tech-enabled companies across Europe. Additionally, he was involved in special situations investing across private and public markets.
Previously, Dennis was a Private Equity investor at Lone Star Funds focused on value-driven, control-oriented Private Equity investments in European operating companies.
Dennis started his career as an Investment Analyst at The Blackstone Group in New York and London focused on credit and special situations investing.
Dennis graduated cum laude from Yale University with a B.A. in Economics. He was the recipient of the Reuben Jeffery III Scholarship.
Prior to his career in finance, Dennis was a professional biathlete in Germany. Dennis is a certified skiing and tennis instructor.
Damian Hahnloser
Founder & Co-CIO
Damian is a Founder of GCP and is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing transactions.
Prior to founding GCP, Damian was a Partner at PrimeStone Capital, a concentrated public equities fund investing in European Mid-Cap stocks.
Previously, Damian was the third member of GIC’s Private Credit Group, helping to grow the portfolio to more than $20bn. He completed more than 30 direct credit deals, investing in 21 PE-sponsored companies.
Before joining GIC, Damian started his career at Perella Weinberg Partners advising on M&A and IPO transactions with a particular focus on healthcare.
Damian has an M.A. from Balliol College, Oxford in Economics and Management. He held a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation.
Damian is an active angel investor. His hobbies are flying (PPL holder), diving, travelling (50 countries) and learning languages (Spanish and Korean).
Charlotte Henderson
Charlotte is responsible for operations, finance & reporting, deal structuring and execution. She is a qualified lawyer with over 20 years of experience practising English and New York law.
She has previously held COO, GC and CCO positions at Telemos Capital, All Seas Capital and ARCH EM Partners, helping to found and professionalise new managers while structuring investments in private credit (hybrid capital) and control PE.
Before this, Charlotte was Investment Director at an EM Credit Fund, structuring investments with equity upside components. She has also been Counsel at Ashmore Group PLC, where she led bondholder committees on numerous restructurings and managed credit positions (corporate and sovereign) as well as private equity and infrastructure/real estate.
Charlotte started her career as an Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in the general practice group where she worked on M&A and leveraged finance.
Charlotte has an M.A. from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford in Jurisprudence. She is fluent in Swedish and has represented Great Britain in (masters) basketball.
Federico Cattani
Investment Professional
Federico is an Investment Professional at GCP, responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing transactions.
Prior to joining GCP, Federico was an investor at Zetland Capital, where he focused on Private Equity and Hybrid Capital Solutions. He began his career at Citi in the Investment Banking Financial Sponsors Group, spending four years advising Private Equity clients on M&A and leveraged finance transactions across sectors.
Federico holds both a BSc and MSc in Finance from Bocconi University.
Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, go-kart racing, weightlifting, and anime.
Luke Wilson
Luke is an Investment Professional at GCP, where he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing transactions.
Before joining GCP, Luke was a Private Equity investor at Terra Firma, where he focused on complex turnarounds in the UK mid-market. He previously worked at Astorg, concentrating on European technology businesses, after starting his career in investment banking at Numis Securities advising UK corporates. Throughout his career, Luke has executed transactions across asset-backed businesses, B2B software, and business services in the UK and Europe.
He holds an MSc in Strategic Management from HEC Paris and a BA in History from the London School of Economics (LSE).
Outside of work, Luke is passionate about sports and culture. He is an avid golfer and boxer, a former academy-level footballer, and enjoys history, politics, film, and wine.
John McCormick
Senior Advisor
John serves as a Senior Advisor on GCP’s Advisory Board, providing strategic guidance to the firm’s leadership and investment teams.
He previously spent nearly 17 years at Blackstone, where he was Global Group Head of Blackstone Alternative Asset Management (BAAM), the firm’s multi-asset investing division. At BAAM, John was a member of all investment committees as well as Blackstone’s firm-wide Operating Committee. Over his tenure, he was responsible for several key business units – including GP Stakes & Seeding, Global Business Development, Global Strategy, and Product Development – and is credited with launching Blackstone’s data science initiative.
Before joining Blackstone in 2005, John was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, advising senior executives in the financial services industry on strategy and organizational issues. He began his career as an attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell and later served at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
John holds a BA from Vassar College and a JD from Yale Law School. In 2022, he returned to Yale Law as an Associate Research Scholar, where he led a reading group on emerging technologies.
Guan Ong
Senior Advisor
Guan serves as a Senior Advisor on GCP’s Advisory Board, providing strategic guidance to the firm’s leadership and investment teams.
He most recently spent six years at GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, where he served as Global Head of Credit in New York and previously as Head of Fixed Income (Europe). Guan retired from GIC in 2024. He also chairs the Investment Committee of Dover Park Hospice.
From 2013 to 2016, Guan was Head of Credit at a Singapore-based family office. Earlier, he founded Blue Rice Investment Management, where he served as Chief Investment Officer. Before that, Guan was the Chief Investment Officer of Korea Investment Corporation (KIC), Korea’s sovereign wealth fund. He has also contributed his expertise as a member of the Investment Committee of the National University of Singapore’s Endowment Fund. He previously held roles at Credit Suisse and Lehman Brothers.
Guan earned a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London and a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Swansea University.
